Caramel bread pudding is a bread pudding that coated with caramel sauce. It is very easy to make a caramel bread pudding and et these caramel bread puddings are so delicious. This recipe will guide you to make a delicious sugary caramel bread pudding in your own kitchen. Even you don't need an oven to make this caramel bread pudding. Once you taste it, you will never say no to a caramel bread pudding.

Ingredients

 1 qt Sliced bread
 1 cup Sugar
 3 qts Egg
 250 ml Milk
 3 tbsp Butter
 ¼ cup Jaggery (Grated)
 ¼ cup Cashew
 ½ cup Plums
 ½ tsp Vanilla extract

Directions

Tear all the bread slices into small pieces.

Beat the eggs in a large bowl using a whisk.

Add milk, 1/2 cup of sugar, jaggery, and vanilla extract.

Mix well until sugar melts and leave it aside.

Now heat a pan and add other 1/2 cup of sugar into the pan.

Add some water, only to cover the sugar.

When sugar caramalized, pour it into the pudding tray and refrigerate.

Meanwhile, melt the butter and pour the melted butter into the milk mixture.

Mix well and strain the milk mixture onto the torn bread pieces, mix well.

Add plums and some cashew, mix well.

Take the refrigerated caramel sauce out and put some cashew on top of the frozen caramel layer.

Pour the bread mixture on to the cashews layer and cover the tray using a foil paper.

Heat some oil in a steamer and cook the pudding for around 30 minutes.

Leave it aside until it cools.

Refrigerate the caramel bread pudding until the pudding is cold.

Drag a knife around the outer layer of the pudding to separate the pudding layer with the tray.

Upside down the caramel bread pudding onto the serving plate.
