Chapai is a well known Indian flatbread. Usually, chapati is served with some gravy. Chapati is well suits for dinner or breakfast. Here is a simple recipe to make some chapati at your home.

Ingredients

 200 g Atta flour
 2 tsp Coconut oil
 ½ tsp Salt
 200 ml Water

Directions

Add 1/2Tsp of salt to the atta flour and mix well.

Now add 2Tsp of coconut oil and mix again gently.

Then add water little by little until the dough becomes a soft ball.

Now cover the dough from a lightly wet kitchen towel and leave it for 5 minutes.

After five minutes, spread some atta flout on a working top and put the on the working flour.

Knead the dough well for around 5 minutes. If the dough is kneaded well, it will stretch like an elastic.

Now roll the dough, tear it into small balls.

Spread some coconut oil on the small dough balls and a rolling pin.

Now using the rolling pin flatten the dough balls lightly.

Spread some coconut oil lightly on a pan and put the chapati on the pan.

Now cook one side of the chapati around 2 minutes on low heat.

After cooking two sides well take the pan off from the cooker and put the cooked chapati directly on the cooker.

It will blow like a balloon,

Now take off the chapati off from the cooker.

Now your homemade chapati is ready to serve.
