When we cook food in our day to day life almost every one of us uses seasoning to make the dish even tastier. Mostly in Sri Lanka, we use seasoning cubes rather than other products like seasoning powder. There are mainly two types of seasoning cubes like vegetable cubes and chicken cubes. But chicken cubes are more famous than vegetable cubes. But when we bu chicken cubes, sometimes we have a second thought because we don't know the ingredients the used to make the chicken cubes. Sometimes the ingredients included in cubes are not very good for our health.
But with the guide of this simple recipe now you can make some chicken cubes at your own kitchen and you can add them into your dishes without fear because you know what they are made from.

Special notes

  • You can use coriander leaves instead of coriander seeds.
  • You can use vegetable oil instead of olive oil.
  • If you don't have an ice cube tray simplyadd the pulp into a tray and cut it into even squares after freezing it overnight.

Ingredients

 250 g Chicken (Boneless)
 1 tbsp Olive oil
 1 qt Carrot (Sliced)
 1 tsp Coriander seeds
 Salt
 1 qt Onion
 1 qt Tomato
 Cardamom seeds
 ½ tsp Turmeric powder
 Ginger
 3 qts Garlic
 Water

Directions

Add all the ingredients to a saucepan and add water only to cover the ingredients.

Close the lid and cook for around 1hour in low heat.

Then blend the cooked ingredients until it becomes a thick pulp.

Transfer the pulp into a piping bag.

Pipe the pulp into an ice cube tray.

Freeze it overnight.

Wrap the cubes using small foil papers.

Freeze the foil-wrapped cubes for later use.
