Devilled chicken a well known spicy Sri Lankan dish that is mostly served with a fried rice dish. Devilled chicken is the most selling dish in almost every restaurant. It has rich content, so there is no need to serve any other dish with the devilled chicken. Unlike its appearance devilled chicken is very easy to make. You can make a devilled chicken dish at your home quickly and serve it to your family members or even for your guests.

Ingredients

 300 g Chicken (Small pieces)
 Coconut oil
 2 qts Onion (Sliced)
 2 qts Tomato (Sliced)
 5 qts Capsicum (Sliced)
 4 qts Green chili (Sliced)
 Ginger (Chopped)
 4 qts Garlic (Chopped)
 Sugar
 Salt
 Turmeric powder
 Pepper powder
 Corn flour
 Chili flakes
 Chili powder
 ½ tbsp Hot sauce (Not necessary)
 2 tbsp Tomato sauce
 1 tbsp Soya sauce

Directions

Add some turmeric powder, pepper powder and salt to suit your taste, mix, refrigerate it for around 20 minuted to marinate.

After 20 minutes, add some water till the chicken is cover with.

Boil the chicken, turning sides, until all the water evaporates.

Add some chili powder and cornflour, mix it well.

Heat some coconut oil in a frying pan and fry all the chicken pieces.

To make the sauce mixture,

Add chili sauce, soya sauce, tomato sauce, and sugar into a small bowl and mix well.

Now add 2tbsp of water to the sauce and mix well.

To make the final dish,

Heat some coconut oil in a saucepan, add chopped garlic and ginger and fry it well.

When garlic turned into a golden brown color, add capsicum, green chili, and onion, and chili flakes, mix well.

Now pour the sauce mixture and add some chili powder, mix well.

Add the fried chicken and leave it until onions and capsicum are almost cooked.

Add tomato, mix well, cook it for around 1 minute.

Turn off the cooker.
