Hot chili egg curry is a mouth-watering gravy dish that is mostly suitable for a busy weekday dinner table. This delicious Sri Lankan hot chili egg curry will please your taste buds like never before. It will take just 10 minutes to do the magic. So here is the recipe to make the delicious hot chili egg curry in your own kitchen.

Take 3Tbsp of all-purpose flour, add some salt, pepper powder, and turmeric powder.
Mix it gradually adding water until it becomes a thick batter.
Now dredge the sliced boiled eggs in remaining all-purpose flour.
Then dredge the egg slices in the batter.
Heat some coconut oil in a pan and fry the dredged eggs well, turning sides.
When the eggs turn into a golden brown color take it out from the oil.
Take a small bowl, add soya sauce, tomato sauce, and hot sauce.
Mix well.
Heat some oil in a pan and add onion, ginger, garlic, capsicum, kochchi, pandan leaves, curry leaves, and lemongrass, mix well.
Now add some salt, pepper powder and chili powder, mix well.
Cook it for around 2 minutes and then add fried eggs and mix.
Now add the prepared sauce and mix,
Then add water, close the lid and leave the curry for around 1 minute on low heat.
Turn off the cooker.
