Chickpea (Kadala) is a very nutritious grain. But sometimes if you made
chickpea (kadala) for breakfast, your family members will mostly avoid breakfast. But you can be a little bit trickier here. You can make them a different dish using chickpea (kadala). Something very delicious and mouthwatering as chickpea (kadala) koththu. This chickpea (kadala) koththu recipe will do a miracle. They will ask for more for sure. Ingredients

 300 g Boiled Chickpea(Kadala)
 Carrot (Grated)
 Capsicum (Stripped)
 Chicken (Boiled)
 2 qts Onion (Chopped)
 3 qts Garlic (Chopped)
 2 qts Eggs
 Curry leaves
 3 qts Green chili
 Mustard seeds
 1 stick Cinnamon
 Red chili flakes
 3 qts Dried Chili
 Salt
 Pepper powder
 20 g Butter
 Oil
 2 qts Cloves
 2 qts Cardamom

Directions

Heat some oil in a frying pan. When oil heats put two eggs into it. Add some salt per your taste. Scramble the eggs until it separates to small pieces. Leave it aside.

Take a saucepan and put it on the cooker to heat. Into the now heated saucepan add butter and stir, until it melts. Add garlic and some onion to the pan, sauté well until it turns to a light golden color.

Now add cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, curry leaves and mustard seeds to the pan and mix it well.

When the ingredients turn to a light golden color add dried chili to the pan.

Add boiled chicken to the pan and let it be seasoned.

When chicken gets well seasoned, add grated carrots, stripped capsicum and 2 scrambled eggs we made before. Mix well.

Now add the well-boiled chickpeas (Kadala) to the mixer. If you like you can mash Chickpeas(Kadala) using a potato masher.

Add red chili flakes, pepper powder and salt per the taste and mix well.

Now add remained onion to the pan. It is very tasty when you chew raw onions.

Mix well and switch off the cooker.

Now your chickpea (kadala) koththu is ready to serve.
