Kisses or meringue cookies are very sweet candy that is very famous especially among the children. Kisses are very soft and melt inside the mouth when eating. We can see kisses at almost every tea party. When kisses dipped in chocolate it makes a divine taste. These meringue cookies are very easy to make and needs only a few ingredients that can easily found in your kitchen. This is the recipe to make some soft and sweet meringue cookies/kisses at your own kitchen.
Special notes
•Make sure that the bowls and all the equipment you use are well dried.
•The amount of sugar you take depends on the weight of the egg whites. If the egg whites weigh 10g, then the sugar is 20g.
•You can use 1/8 tsp of cream of tartar instead of the lime extract.

Add sugar, egg whites, vanilla extract, and some salt into a well-dried bowl and mix.
Boil some water in a saucepan and put the bowl on top of the saucepan and whisk until sugar melts.
Now beat the mixture with a beater on high speed.
Add lime extract and beat again until you have stiff peaks.
Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 90c'
Using a BBQ skew draw some lines of food coloring inside a piping bag.
Now pipe the kisses onto the parchment paper layered baking tray.
Bake the kisses for around 1 and half hour.
Leave the baked kisses in the oven until the oven cools down.
