Oats are a very nutritious cereal grain. It is well known because oats will lower blood cholesterol when consumed regularly. Oatmeal and rolled oats are for human consumption. In European countries, oats are a very common breakfast dish. But most of the Sri Lankans do not like oats because of the lack of knowledge to prepare an oatmeal dish properly.
So here is a simple yet delicious recipe to make oats with milk as a breakfast dish.

Ingredients

 ½ cup Oats
 1 cup Fresh Milk
 Sultana
 Sugar
 Salt

Directions

Put a saucepan on the cooker and turn on.

Now add 1 cup of fresh milk, salt, and sugar as per your taste., mix well.

When the milk boils, add 1/2 cup of oats and mix well.

Now add sultana, mix well, leave it until oats are well cooked.

After around 3 minutes, you can see it thickens.

Turn off the cooker.

Serve it warm.
