Ingredients

 150 Bengal Gram (Soak overnight)
 1 qt Onion (Chopped)
 3 qts Green chili (Minced)
 Curry leaves (Minced)
 Maldive fish
 Chili flakes
 Salt
 Coconut oil

Directions

Blend the soaked Bengal gram little by little until you can form a small ball from the blended paste. Make sure to have some unblended pieces of Bengal gram in the paste.

Put the blended paste into a bowl and add curry leaves, green chili, onion, and Maldive fish.

Now add some salt, chili flakes and then mix well.

Then make small balls from the vadai paste.

Heat some oil in a deep pan.

Deep fry the vadai twice.

It is ready to be served.
