Among the thousands of varieties of soups, the simplest and the easiest soup is vegetable soup. Mostly a vegetable soup is served as a starter or an appetizer dish. Because of the healthy ingredients it contains, vegetable soup is very healthy and has a low calory amount. So vegetable soup is very suitable for a weight loss diet. Here we present you a recipe to make a delicious bowl of vegetable soup at your own place.

  • You can choose any other vegetable of your choice
  • You can add chopped tomatos while soup cookes instead of lime.

Ingredients

 250 g Carrot (Sliced)
 150 g Green beans (Sliced)
 150 g Potato (Sliced)
 250 g Leaks (Sliced)
 250 g Cabbage (Sliced)
 200 g Dhal
 1 qt Onion (Sliced)
 5 qts Garlic
 1 qt Lime
 Pepper powder
 Pepper
 Salt

Directions

Take a large saucepan, add all the vegetables and dhal.

Now add water, twice the amount of vegetables.

Then add garlic, pepper, and salt to suit your taste.

Close the lid and boil the vegetable soup.

When vegetables are cooked well add sliced onions.

Turn off the cooker.

Now using a blender, blend the vegetables lightly.

Add the blended vegetables to the soup.

Now add some lime extract and pepper powder to suit your taste.

Serve it warm.
